========All about Rotala Rotundifolia=========
Rotala Rotundifolia, the dwarf Rotala, is a plant species origins from southeast of Asian. It is a fast growing stem plant that has been a staple of the planted aquarium world for a long time.
Unlike other Rotala species it is relatively undemanding, It does well even in aquariums without carbon dioxide injection after a period of adjustment. However, having sufficient light and CO2 allows it to grow with better density, and better coloration.
It forms side shoots willingly, becoming compact and bushy. This also means that it is hard for light to reach the lower leaves, so the plant should be pruned frequently.
The emerse form has rounded leaves, the submerse leaves are narrow lanceolate. It is very variable dependent on light and environmental conditions.
